pay to read

>> Thursday, December 4, 2008

pay to read (ptr) are online programs where you will receive a number of emails with links that you click in exchange for cash or points. the problem with this type of program is that it will take a long time to reach the minimum payout. far longer than pay to click schemes. if it takes a long time to earn enough to receive payout, then why join? personally, i joined for two reasons: exposure and amusement.

exposure because you can have your banners posted on the site without having to actually pay for it. you can get it by exchanging points or if you can win it through games. by having your banners posted, there might be some members of the site that may click on it and join the programs that your a member with.

amusement because i sometimes like the games on the site. i like marvin's room in mentalemails.

RECOMMENDED
occupex - the best for me since i got paid already. low minimum payout of $1 through paypal or alertpay. payment within 10 days for standard members. around 6-7 ads a day. will buy referrals once their referral replacement program is in place.

WATCHLIST
take the globe - minimum payout is $10 but they have 60+ ads daily for $0.0050 each. just be sure that any minor in your household doesn't join because the 60+ ads include adult sites if you choose to have them included in the ads available to you.
there's a post in mylot that says payment will take 2 months and his position in the waiting list keeps on moving backwards. my friend will reach the minimum payout earlier than i am so i'll just see first what happens to his request before putting this among my "give up" sites.

sandraclicks - they say that the owner's fiance just died last week of cancer. some mylot members are a bit skeptical because there had been instances before that this was used as a reason to close down the site. hope it's the latter.

TOO SOON TO TELL
haven't reached minimum payout yet in these sites:
perfectbux
buxout
paypalmoney.eu

SCAM
clixplaza - site suddenly became inaccessible. wasted a couple of referrals here.

juberbux - the site is dead.  wasted 4-5 referrals here.  crap.

islandclicks - another dead site.  good thing that i didn't get a referral for this.  joined this in exchange for a referral in juberbux.

clickerbux - dead site also.  the admin wrote in its brother site divinebux.com that they are changing servers.  but it never went up again.  by the way, as of nov. 26, the last time the admin for divinebux was active was on nov. 11.

defintion of terms

my version of definition of terms

pay to click - websites that you join who will give you a certain number of advertising links, found in one of the website's pages, to open for a specific number of seconds in exchange for a small amount of money. this is good for newbies because there are only a few links

pay to read - websites that you join who will send you emails with advertising links which needs to be opened for a specific number of seconds to earn money or points. you have to be very patient with this since there will be a LOT of links to click because the amount for each is usually less than half of the "pay to click" programs. you also need to create a separate email for this so you won't overlook your regular emails. there are a few programs that will consolidate the links in one email but many will send one email for one link

pay to post - a website you join where you will be paid for starting or posting in discussions. one-word posts will probably not count.

i haven't joined any pay to blog or pay to promote sites yet so i haven't really checked the mechanics on this.

new look

>> Sunday, October 26, 2008

finally, i was able to finish the new look of this blog. took me a few hours to learn how to get around changing the layout, choosing the theme to use and deciding what to put in it. by the way, uploading a theme via google chrome usually ends up in an error. ironic isn't it, since blogger and chrome is by google. anyway, i'll start posting about the online earning programs i've joined later, hopefully by tomorrow.

locked!

Your blog at: http://myclique-ptc.blogspot.com/ has been identified as a potential spam blog.

unless my brain is working, which is not often ... hehe, it usually takes me sometime to finish a short blog.  so last night, i just created this new blog for the "earning online programs" that i joined. unfortunately, i just typed in a few words then left it open overnight.  around noon today, i was going continue writing, but to my surprise i got an email notice that my blog was locked for being a possible spam blog.  haha ... serves me right for starting something without a clear plan for my next step.
